1-2-1 Tuition, Careers Advice and UCAS Support
Private Sports Tuition is dedicated to working with 16-19 year old sports students who would benefit from highly focussed and personalised support. After an initial consultation, an individual Support Programme is developed and agreed between the Student, the Parents and your Private Tutor. The Support Programme could involve a comprehensive range of different teaching and learning activities, practical support and/or careers advice.
Support can be provided for any of the BTEC or OCR Sport Units being studied, and the Support Programme is reviewed on an ongoing basis. Our student:tutor relationships are based upon professionalism, discretion, empathy and hard work. Support is also available to help students considering University options involving the full range of sports-related courses.

BTEC and OCR sports courses can be extremely demanding and your Private Tutor will diagnose and assess learning requirements, before supporting the student on a Unit-by-Unit basis.
Although some students can navigate the maze of Sixth Form and FE College without ever needing additional help, many experience difficulty keeping up with the rigours of studying, coursework and exam preparation. Private Sports Tuition normally takes place in the convenience of the student's own home but activities can also be scheduled at libraries, indoor/outdoor sports facilities and other suitable venues.
Many students also find practical assessments for the sports coaching and leadership units very challenging, and your Private Tutor can develop bespoke activities to enable students to gain confidence and competencies for practical sessions. Your 1-2-1 Support Programme can include guided rehearsal and practise assessment sessions.
